Eligibility Criteria

The main objective of DIGA is to promote research through training of young researchers. According to the general conditions of the contract of DIGA, the definition of "young researcher" is:

"Young researcher" refers to a researcher aged 35 years or less at the time of his appointment by a participant in the frame of this contract under the conditions specified in [...]. An allowance to this age limit may be made for the actual time spent in compulsory military or civil service or child care (a maximum of two years per child for the actual time spent off work).

To participate in DIGA, a young researcher must comply with the conditions the above definition refers to. These are:

NOTE: The eligibility criteria must be met by a potential young researcher at the time of his appointment by an institution that participates in DIGA.
